Cast and Crew
Samantha has lived in Minneapolis for 11 years and has performed in both the improv and theater communities including work with Lyric Arts, Huge Theater, Brave New Institute, Shakespeare & Company, Freshwater Theater, and Wayward Theater. Over the last four years, she has performed primarily with Classical Actors Ensemble in various productions including Love's Labors Lost, Twelfth Night, Julius Caesar, Macbeth, As You Like It, A Midsummer Nights Dream, The Roaring Girl, and Romeo and Juliet. She has lost count, but this is something like her fifth Fringe Festival production (it's been a while). She has two cats and a husband who acts like a cat but who is a husband.
Avi Aharoni is so excited to be bringing this beautiful, unique show to life with such a dedicated and fun team! Avi has performed all over town with companies such as: Transatlantic Love Affair/Guthrie Theatre, Park Square Theatre, MN Jewish Theatre, Children's Theatre Co., Artistry, Stages Theatre Co., Actor's Theatre of MN, Swandive Theater, Classical Actor's Ensemble, Wayward Theatre Co., Mission Theatre Co., 20% Theatre Co., as well as The Guild Theatre in Ra'Anana, Israel. Deanna Strasse is a Milwaukee based actress, playwright, and director. She's seen many of her plays workshopped and produced through companies such as Windfall Theatre, Village Playhouse, St. Croix Festival Theatre, Macha Monkey Productions (in Seattle, Washington), The Chameleon Theatre Circle (in Burnsville, Minnesota), Wisconsin Lutheran College, and The Off-Book Players. Kimberly MillerDirector/ Co-Producer
As the Co-Artistic Director of Sidecar Theatre, Kimberly is honored to be directing and co producing Summers in Prague. Kimberly is excited to be returning to the fringe after directing and co-producing De Hjerteløse [The Heartless] for the 2017 MN Fringe. She recently had the pleasure of directing Little Shop of Horrors for Chameleon Theater Circle where she has previously directed [Title of Show] and The 39 Steps. Alongside her directing career, Kimberly is also a writer for Blackout Comedy and Improv. Kimberly earned her BA in Theatre from Minnesota State University Moorhead, and is a proud Associate Member of SDC.
Jessi KadolphStage Manager
Jessi Kadolph is so excited to be back for her 2nd Fringe Festival working on Summers in Prague! She has done stage managing and event planning work with theatre groups in Sarasota, Florida, Cedar Falls and Waterloo, Iowa, New York City, and Minneapolis. Previous Twin Cities credits include: [title of show], Avenue Q, and The 39 Steps (The Chameleon Theatre Circle); Sense and Sensibility (Theatre in the Round); and The Baltimore Waltz (Theatre Coup d’Etat). Jessi is a theatre graduate from the University of Northern Iowa.
Megan WestCo- Producer
Megan is the Executive Producer of The Chameleon Theater Circle. She has been in art administration for the last decade, an AEA Stage Manager, a tour manager for Open Eye Figure Theatre and In The Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, as well as production and company manager for Park Square Theatre. Megan serves as the Board Chair of the Minnesota Theatre Alliance and on the board of Walking Shadow Theatre Company.
Corey BoeDialect Coach
Corey Boe is an actor and writer from Duluth, where he trained in dialects with Kate Ufema. Though he doesn't share her penchant for fine scarves, their mastery of the "knowing wink" has bonded them greater than that woven silk ever could.
