Like they watched me bartend
So many recognizable moments. I’ve worked in bars for over 20 years, and so many of the scenes brought back memories. Funny, feminist and real. I loved it.

Deliciously creepy in all the right ways
Beautiful, haunting melodies, strong vocals. Perfectly set in the Southern Theatre. A conversation about strong women and the threat they become, and the rumors that make them even stronger and more demonized for behaviors, real or imagined, that men are celebrated for. Excellent on every level.

A Montanan gets her due
As a former Montanan, I know who Jeanette Rankin is. I was entertained by the fleshing out and humanizing l of the facts that I knew, as well as learning a lot more about the woman who’s name is prominent in several places in Missoula, where I lived. This one woman show is impressive.

Fun and unexpectedly poignant
Beautiful storytelling. I wanted to sit with these short stories and read them in a cozy room, by myself. The performance was so intimate that I almost felt like I was doing just that.

Asks the big questions lightly
I really enjoyed this show. The actors were well cast and their vocals were great. The characters were all relatable (even the aliens 😉 ), and the story left me contemplating some life questions, even as I was happily humming the melodies from the songs.

It left me breathless and without words. Utterly beautiful, tragic and haunting, in the best possible ways.
