Above all else, this show is FUN
Like its predecessor, this year’s showing is packed with pop culture references, witty observations, and millennial in-jokes, evoking the feel of the banter between friends on a raucous night out. All-around strong comedic performances, a well-executed script, and clever staging (including the hilarious use of a bundle of balloons with faces to represent the campers) set this youthful production apart from many less-polished shows from more experienced Fringe teams. Beautiful, accurately captures childhoood
The overall effect is one of a favorite eccentric aunt telling you the sort of slightly naughty stories you look forward to hearing each Christmas–even if she takes a while to get to some of the juicy bits.
