Whales - Clever, Fast moving, Edgy and Charming
Wow! hard to explain the myriad of layered and beautiful levels of hilarious audience participation, solo and chorus songs, loud ruckuses and boisterous interactions, light-hearted smart humor, to power-driven metal guitars, silent and mesmerizing stories in shadow puppetry, and genuinely dynamic performances which portrayed story of the Essex, and Melville's Moby Dick. The entertainment quality alone, makes it my favorite performance of the festival. But the cleverly designed waves of educational details and knowledge will be more memorable and better recalled than any college seminar in Melville... Thank you Hit The Lights!
