Venue: Minnsky Theatre
Cute Idea!
I couldn't escape the allure of a murder mystery using the characters from the 100 Acre Woods. It was definitely fun, and some of the actors were amazing, but it did seem a bit slow at times. Eyeore, Rabbit, and Piglet were amazing!
Company: The Coldharts
Show: Eddie Poe

Wow
It was worth going just to listen to the music. Loved it!
Company: Fine, Poke The Wasp Productions
Show: I, Eternal
Venue: Augsburg Mainstage
Great Work
Didn't read any reviews before attending and I was pleasantly surprised by the show. Dark and dramatic--it kept me engaged the whole time. The cast seemed quite young, which made it that much more impressive.
Company: New Endeavors
Show: The Buttslasher
Venue: Ritz Theater Mainstage
Great Fun
Good acting. Great puns. Worked perfect for a Fringe show--it might have gotten old if it was any longer, but the jokes worked awesome for the time frame. Very funny.
Company: Libra Moon Productions
Show: There Goes the Gayborhood
Venue: Strike Theater
Nice Idea...
...executed a bit of a clunky manner. I really wanted to like it, but I would have had no idea what was happening if I hadn't read the blurb on the Fringe website. It seemed kind of all over the place. There were some funny one liners, but a lot of the other lines seemed to be thrown out at random.
Company: Bollywood Dance Scene
Show: BollyProv: NOT a Dance Drama!
Venue: Ritz Theater Mainstage
Great Mix in an Hour
The first half was storytelling and the second half was improv loosely based off of elements from the story. Definitely loved the story with a few short dances woven in. The improv was interesting. They said that each show is based off of a different story--so each one is different!
Company: Paper Soul
Show: SOFT
Venue: Ritz Theater Mainstage
Great Idea
As a fan of horror podcasts, this was right up my alley. That being said, after seeing the play I think it could have served just as well (or maybe better?) as an audio drama. It's a bit slow moving. The story is intriguing and a great commentary on modern social norms and issues around dating and technology.
Company: ... and company
Show: Chapter 23
Venue: Minnsky Theatre
I Don't Know Anything About Dance, But Hey!
Went to this one on a whim. I know nothing about dance in general, but I found it very interesting, relaxing and thought provoking. Felt rejuvenated after watching it!
Company: Grand Island Theatre
Show: Hamlet, but Hamlet's a Chicken
Venue: Minnsky Theatre
More Than Just A Chicken
Great time! I fully expected to literally watch Hamlet but just with a chicken, but each act features a delightful alteration to shake things up. I'm only vaguely knowledgable on the plot of Hamlet so I didn't know what was happening at times but that doesnt mean I was any less entertained.
