Show: Far Away by Caryl Churchill

Confusing play staged beautifully
As others have said, this script is rather confusing, but the acting, music, set, costumes, and directing were superb. Check it out if you don't mind uncertainty in your theater.
Company: Oncoming Productions
Show: Geminae
Venue: Southern Theater
Stunning!
I'll get my quibble out of the way first: the end is a let-down, a bit too pedestrian. But the first 80% of the show is so spectacular, I'm still giving it 5 stars. Rob Ward and Emily Lindholm are absolutely amazing and mesmerizing!!! The space scenes are hands down the most gorgeous moments I've seen in the festival so far.
Company: Theatre Corrobora
Show: Rejection
Venue: Augsburg Mainstage
Fun
A fun show that presents different takes on love and relationships. Well staged with lots of laughs. The ending felt forced, but I'd still recommend this enjoyable show.
Company: Gabriel Mata/Movements
Show: DREAMING

Beautiful
Beautiful, powerful, and even at times funny.
Company: Custer & Schmidt
Show: Our Best Life
Venue: Rarig Center Thrust
Hilarious
We ended up here when another show was sold out, and I'm so glad we did!! This is one of the best shows in the festival! Shanan is hilarious, smart, and charming. She's having a blast on stage, and her laughter is delightfully infectious. Final bit = 100% earned. Someone get her a Netflix special ASAP!!
Company: So Shall I
Show: Estate of Affairs
Venue: Ritz Theater Studio
Good acting, but...
The acting is very good, but the plot "twists" are predictable and I've seen most of these jokes before.
Company: Grand Island Theatre
Show: Hamlet, but Hamlet's a Chicken
Venue: Minnsky Theatre
More than a chicken
Really impressive actors who kept straight faces -- and deep emotion when emotion was called for -- despite some of the most absurd scenes I've ever seen in theater. Check this out if you're looking for a solid hour of laughter! (And the chickens were adorable.)
Company: Navel Gaze Productions
Show: Fringe Orphans 4: Back in the Habit
Venue: Theatre in the Round
Something for everyone
Great variety that includes something for every Fringe-goer. Please, more unicorn!
Company: Flash Grenade Productions
Show: The Flashlight Zone: 20 Science Fiction Plays in One Hour
Venue: Theatre in the Round
Excllent and intriguing
This is a superbly acted show with a great script! Having the audience pick which piece was next provided a good palette cleanser that let me reset between vignettes. Many of the premises of these short pieces could easily extend into an entire play. Highly recommended!
