A Celebration of Rhythm and the Body
I found this show exuberant and joyful. Both the dancing and the percussion were contagious and life-affirming. I could not sit still. No story-line was needed, but the show traced movements and rhythms from their African sources and suggested how they evolved on this side of the Atlantic. I am so glad I serendipitously ended up at the Ritz this afternoon. I didn’t know I needed this, but I so definitely did! I wish I had another life to live, so that I could learn to drum and move like this next time!

Who Knew It Was So Much Fun to Be Dead?
This show may be the liveliest opportunity you will ever have in this lifetime to think with your fellow living human beings about what it may be like to be dead. Grab a name tag to find out your new name, and come along with the "members" of Impossible Salt for a journey filled with beautiful, original, live music, ancient Egyptian mythology, intriguing and frightful encounters with gods, a lot of laughter, and some inspiration to think about what this life may be all about. Impossible Salt has once again called on their own inimitable creative impulses to invite their audience to a place out of time in order to speak to the time in which we live. A side benefit: Northeast's Casket Arts Building is a most perfect setting for this lively experience.
