Better concept than execution
If you saw last year's "tragedy of obi wan" you know the story here - great idea with a familiar cast of characters, but the show itself falls a little flat. Actors do their best, but for a comedy the audience was really quiet and the few laughs were just chuckles.

If you think you'll like it, you'll love it
I saw a review online that didn't like all the crime noir parody humor. But, like, that's the whole point! I knew that going in and had a blast. If you're looking for complex theater, I'm afraid "The Buttslasher" isn't it. But if you thought it wasn't going to be just a regular good old fun time, that's on you.

Still Thinking About It
The farther away I get from this one the more I like it. Watching it, everything is so fast-paced you can barely keep up (in a good way) but in the next few days I kept remembering great moments like the superman piece or the robot fairy tale or the fake news play. It might be a little hectic at times, but this one sticks with you and ages well.
