Show: Kaboom

So. Great. See this if you can!

Wonderfully hilarious. Action packed and non-stop laughs! I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. Every character was great, from the president to Foot. Great opening as well. If I could fit it in I would see this a second time.

Company: Play-Dot
Show: Midwestworld
Venue: Southern Theater

Went off the rails

I really enjoyed the first half of the show...and then was ready for it to end. Things came apart and the conclusion fell a bit flat.

Company: Literally Entertainment
Show: The Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist or, Ocean's 'Eh'T?: A Musical
Venue: Mixed Blood Theatre

Super entertaining, Great lyrics.

Great music and choreography. I loved the Canadian jokes about saying sorry. 'Ladouche' was fantastic. Every actor was all-in and the energy is contagious. Get there early for a seat close to the center so you can hear all of the great lyrics.

Show: The Screaming Skull

Must see!

Wonderful! So much drama with a simple one-man show. I really enjoyed the pacing and steady build the the final scene. My only note would be the last scene could have had a touch more light. See this if you can!

Company: Monster Science Productions
Show: What To Do In Case Of Dinosaur Attack
Venue: Mixed Blood Theatre

Best. Lecture. Ever.

My face hurt from laughing after this show. If you are a fan of dinosaurs, dinosaur movies, and poking fun at the inaccuracy in beloved classics such as Jurassic Park you can't miss this! Knowledge of pop culture dinosaur references is helpful if you want to catch all the jokes.

Company: Pacific Midwest Ballet
Show: Zombies And Pirouettes
Venue: Southern Theater

Great concept, not so great execution.

I loved the. Concept, and the dances involving the zombies were my favorite part. Some of the choreography was very simple, but some of the dancers seemed to be barely capable of the basic steps, or lacked energy. I likes the added tufting and other modern moves, but they were few and far between. The dancers that were fully committed were wonderful, particularly the first zombie in the green dress.
