A Stranger Wonderful Life of Things
Somewhere out there on the Internet, I saw this show advertised as "Stranger Things" meets "It's a Wonderful Life," and while those sentiments definitely set up the expectations of what the show is, simply comparing two pieces of media to this show still doesn't se up the expectation of what the heart of the story is. The ensemble in this show kills it, portraying multiple characters, the world itself, and abstractions of time/space. In the center is Michael Rogers and Mackenzie Lahren playing the same character split across by 10 years and having flawless chemistry as they bounce through their therapeutic adventure. Highly recommend checking this one out if you're interested in minimalist theater that almost feels like an hour and half nostalgic movie than just another Fringe show.

The Best Normal There Is
Unpredictable, unflinching, and unbelievably Normal. As a fan of Goof Goof, it's incredible to see Liv and Phil push themselves into dramatic territory without sacrificing what makes their improv show hilarious and absurdist. This was wonderful and honest and bizarre and highly enjoyable. Check out da Goofs!
