A fun show but...
Was looking forward to this one ever since I saw the poster for it. I normally love Mainly Me shows in the fringe and this year was a bit of a mixed bag for me. It still had the same fast paced energy and stunts. Kelsey Cramer, Sulia Rose Altenberg, Allison Witham, Emily Jabas and Lauren Omernik were on point and carried the torch well. Heather Myer was hilarious! Oh yeah, the men are also funny! But, there was one thing that my friend and I did feel strange about. The writer and director, Josh Carson, cast himself as the superhero male lead who comes off as the only noble man to recognize a women’s worth and champion for them. While the other male performers, Andy Rocco Kraft and Brad Erickson, are relegated to play a handful of men who physically assault women, a couple of fast talking misogynists (who also assault women) and a son whose only job is to annoy his mother. Maybe they lost a coin toss or maybe someone wanted to look good? A fun show but it made it feel a little gross.

Wasn't sure what to expect going in. I've been a fan of Tom Reed's one-man shows for years but the theme of this one made me a little nervous. I was pleasantly surprised! Tight, polished and super funny! Everyone in the cast shined. Reed did a great job of playing the lead yet also giving other characters great moments. I highly recommend it!

Loved it!
Saw this show because I heard some great buzz. Was not disappointed! Funny and meaningful with a real look into how people change. The cast did a great job. It felt more like a show you would see at the Jungle than a fringe show. Check it out!
