History repeats itself
This show is fantastic and the entire cast is extremely talented! A spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down. In this raucous retelling of a serious, eerily familiar topic, we are given more like a heaping cupful of sugar in the form of wacky, absurd, caricature and hilarious physicality. But the point of the script came through loud and clear, the danger of corruption hijacking the truth. In our current world of claims of “fake news”, I enjoyed the opportunity to laugh through my tears. Note- i was distracted by the volume of the band during a solo, (otherwise the use of live band is very tasteful), and a flashing light in the background during a solo, and the occasional lengthy scene change. Not sure if this was intentional, but kept drawing my attention for this short period of time. Overall, this is an important show, and so enjoyable that I will definitely be attending again.
