SouthPark ideals and alcoholism have come together

Alright... 10pm was the appropiate time to see this show. It's bipolar and disgusting verbage is just what I expected. These reviews are so honest seeing it was a refreshing-follow-through. Hide your kids hide your wife, but if you can enjoyably stomach the worst in human interaction this might make you smile. The 20 people there laughed and gave a standing ovation... however there is no future for this garbage. I drink to the cast; my bottle weilding female-dogs!!! Memorable and passionate and insane.

Company: D Lobontiu
Show: Sfanta (Holy One)
Venue: Strike Theater

So unique and fun and straight forward

I've never seen a 1 woman play before and it was extremely well done because the performer had high energy and gave consistent body language for each of the 7 or so characters. It is a simple piece that relys on good acting, not something that I've seen often this year at the fringe. Only 1 costume, 1 ladder, and 1 impressive hour of digestible content. Lights and music change but the actress rarely leaves our view - so imagine how hard it is to create something playful and enjoyable alone on stage. Would make a great cartoon film. Do not miss it.

Company: See-Saw Theater Lab
Show: The Womyn's Mysteries
Venue: Minnsky Theatre

Very intense and empowering

I really liked this intense piece because it felt more genuine as time passed. Each actress was given a voice and each point made added a well rounded feeling to their story. By the end of the play I felt I had learned a lot and was content / speechless, which speaks to how the play was logical and streamline. Again, it seemed like a true labor of love and nobody in particular was the primary focus or left out - hard to do with so many people. Admirable to them all for showing good teamwork, very impressive. Still intense. Mark webb seems blinded by a desire for perfection. This play was smooth for being new-this-year and so intense. Not straightforward, simple, or easy to do.
