Imaginative and Well fought
The script was not my favorite but everyone involved fought to make it clear and impactful. The one set piece, deemed necessary by the script, trapped our characters and the choice to leave Christian frozen onstage was unnecessary, but the stage pictures created helped shape the story and add impact. While there was a lot of fighting in very few pages, I thought each had it's own flair and showcased the actors' skills. The moon's headpiece was strange, but otherwise the costumes made sense and fit the world. My biggest complaint was the opening, which I think was only helpful if you knew Cyrano. My favorite moments were Christian and Cyrano discussing Roxanne and Roxanne finally confronting Cyrano about keeping silent all these years, very clear and engaging storytelling. Oh. Also the magical swordfighting bit, very fine teamwork there. I'm excited to see what Red Dice Collective creates next.

Wonderful!
Being someone unfamiliar with the language of modern dance I gravitated towards the craftsmanship of this piece. The intention and precise movement coupled with the improvisation and freedom that everyone displayed was wonderful. I can't say I understood it, but I can say I definately witnessed hard work, dedication, and damn good dancing. Get to this show, trust me, it's worth it
