my favorite kind of nonsense
this show is at least twenty percent pop culture references which means.... I LOVED IT! so many allusions to gay characters or tropes from tv and movies. a couple of the characters are complete stereotypes: the girl who wants to be an ally so bad she is the tryhardiest tryhard to ever tryhard, the most flamboyant gay boy you ever did see... but it doesn't actually feel like they were trying to make fun of the stereotypical characters. it came across more affectionate than mocking.
