There are different types of Fringe shows

Good shows, Bad shows, and Tremendous works of art. Whales falls into that Tremendous category. Honestly. It runs the gamut of emotions, I felt angry, I laughed, I pitied the crewmen of these whaling vessels, along with the massive and majestic whales. I felt so many emotions, so quickly and deeply, that I had to just process them for a moment after the show had ended. On top of that, good shanties, rock, and even jazz music. Oh, also it was beautiful. Beautiful! Their shadow puppetry is nothing short of stunning. When I say stunning, I found myself still, and unable to move, as I absorbed the art Hit the Lights placed before me. A visual, audible, and emotional feast. Well done! Holy shit, well done. These story tellers not only know what makes a good story, but also how to tell it. No more Whales performances, but luckily they have one more show ,Horsetale, at 4:30 tomorrow (Sunday) and I am not going to miss it. Great. Work!
