It's Sally's birthday party and she is determined to have the best party ever! But the only person who shows up is her cooler and older best friend, Casey, who moved away. Pranks are played and secrets emerge as Sally and Casey reminisce about their friendship and their best friend, Bruno, while navigating wacky menu items over the loudspeaker and a possibly evil clown. You're all invited!

Writer's Note from Catherine:

Chocolate Covered Chicken Wings was conceived from a late weeknight visit to the Minnesota State Fair. Enjoying a bacon wrapped turkey leg at Texas Steak Out, my friends and I joked at the empty tables that no one showed up to my birthday party. I wanted to see what that would be like, and in that setting. We have all had friends that at times can seem like enemies, and experienced the pain of loneliness. This play captures my love of the scary, sorrow, and absurd.
