The Musical dance drama portraying an incident at Kizhavenmani village, TamilNadu, India on December 25 1968 where 44 of striking village labourers and family members from Dalit (oppressed) community were burnt live by a gang led by their landlord. Thisoppressed theatre production is coupled by vibrantFolk and Traditional instrumentals like Nadaswaram, Thawil, Pambai, Urumi and Parai and colorful south Indian folk dance forms. The drama in addition to depicting the serious impact of the caste system on Indian society, it also describes on how natural reserves are being exploited by corporates for their benefits and profits. ThoughLaws and policies adopted by the Indian government provide a strong basis for protection, the oppressed communities continue to face discrimination, exclusion, and acts of communal violence as the laws and policiesare not being faithfully implemented by local authorities.
