Good concept
This was a good concept that needed more workshopping. It was sweet at times.

Thank you.
I am so glad I was able to catch this on the last day of Fringe. I feel like I just witnessed one of the greats. Thank you for bringing a story to life, singlehandedly.
Company: Devious Mechanics
Show: Edith Gets High
Venue: Rarig Center Arena
Amazing.
I am so glad I reserved a ticket for Friday night! It was even better than I had expected and I had really high expectations. Movement and singing and writing and concept and acting all spot on!
Company: Albino Squirrel Productions
Show: Zelda: The Hero of Fringe
Venue: Theatre in the Round
Lunk
I think you needed to be a bigger fan of Zelda than I am too really enjoy the show. I still enjoyed it, but felt a little lost at times.

Well done art.
A beautiful work of art. The voices. The sounds. The writing. Amazing work, so well rehearsed and portrayed.

How is this show not sold out?! So much talent. Go. To. This. Show. I am so impressed with this performer, the combination of amazing movement and stellar sounds and silly and fun and weird and amazing... Really, go!

Show: Good Friday the 13th
Venue: Mixed Blood Theatre
This one time at church camp...
OMG. I laughed so so hard. As an x camp goer and counselor this is hilarious. Honestly, the satire is spot on. I loved the idea of their back drop, the execution of it was a little clumsy, but overall I loved the idea. The actors hustled to make the transitions as quickly as they could. This was the right amount of creepy, silly and campy.
Company: no way theatre
Show: Plaid Tales
Venue: Rarig Center Thrust
Simple and well done
The story was told with a nice simple set. Very well directed and acting was spot on. The story itself was a little forced at times, however I really enjoyed the authenticity in each of the characters.
Company: Harmonious Music
Show: What Happened to Annie?
Venue: Augsburg Mainstage
Good message
I can tell that this cast was really having fun. The message is very important, and needs to be told. The transitions were rough, could have been tightened up to prevent the show from losing its flow. Sam and Annie were both passionately portrayed.
Company: Community Power MN
Show: Carbon Man-Dating: A Climate themed Gay Romantic Comedy
Venue: Augsburg Studio
Punny
Mr. Samelson could win a pun-off. Unfortunately I really don't know what was being said. It felt like I missed the pre-reading for a class. The presentation was reading from a PowerPoint.
Company: Weggel Productions
Show: Cat Confidential: The Secret Lives of the Mothers of Lions
Venue: Theatre in the Round
Kitty
All of the stories are really heart felt, sad and funny. All of the monologues were still on book which was disappointing.
Company: Haute Dish Productions
Show: Chisago: The Musical
Venue: Rarig Center Thrust
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
It's everything I would want a MN themed show to be and so so much more. The writing is witty and smart. The choero is great, and gives homage to the original. It's very polished and ready for a full length non-fringe show. I wish that they could all have mics in Fringe, that would have been the icing on the cake.
Company: Somerville Productions
Show: SIZE
Venue: Theatre in the Round
In a complicated relationship...
with food. The struggle with size is real and this cast did a great job of storytelling, singing, and short sketches showing the feelings and reality if Size in America. It was a bit painful for me to watch because it hit so close to home to me.
Company: Jena Young Productions
Show: The Bisexual Unicorn and Other Mythological Creatures
Venue: Theatre in the Round
Stories that need to be told
These are the stories that need to be told. They are truth in the face of criticism. The delivery could be more polished.
Company: Elite Entertainment
Show: Looking Glass- A Shattered Cirque Wonderland
Venue: Minnsky Theatre
Holy wow.
Death defying acts in the air, fire, group dance, chair with crazy heels. Well curated. Nice voice over. Overall a finished show.
Company: Bollywood Dance Scene
Show: My Kahaani
Venue: Augsburg Mainstage
Bring tissues
Stories told simply. No music, no sound effects... Unless of course you count the laughter and sniffles from the audience. Stories of truth and life and loss and home. The simple nature of these storytellers presented with raw emotion will have you smiling and tearing up; hug your loved ones friends.
Company: Thad Mota and The Others
Show: The Canary in the Cubicle
Venue: Rarig Center Xperimental
Stories.
The stories were well written. Getting up on stage to tell your story on stage is a brave thing. It looked like half of the performers have never been on stage before, and the other half were very polished. I applaud the efforts of getting up and presenting in front of an audience.
Company: The Waterfront Productions
Show: The Viking and The Gazelle
Venue: The Phoenix Theater
Truth.
Speaks the truth that needs to be said. It's powerful, funny, witty, and uses the stage in the best possible way. I can't wait to see it again this winter!
Company: Sheep Theater
Show: A Cult Classic
Venue: Southern Theater
Unknowing....
Sheep theater does not disappoint. Clever writing and well executed. It brought me back to a college course on cult studies... Only funnier.
Company: Haunt Armada
Show: Hello Mother
Venue: Rarig Center Xperimental
Bravo
Incredibly well done. Great use of the space, lights, and voice effects. Creepy in the best possible way.
Company: 1929Crash Productions
Show: UStopiA
Venue: Mixed Blood Theatre
USA.USA
The concept was good. Most of the acting was also good, especially "Ann". I feel like with some workshoping this has a lot of potential! The picture of what was happening around the scene was well described.
Company: The Bearded Company
Show: Swords & Sorcery: The Improvised Fantasy Campaign
Venue: Theatre in the Round
Stellar, as always
Funny and witty as always! Music in the opening was a little too loud, couldn't hear the introduction of characters. Improv done right.
Company: Quick Question Productions
Show: The Big Release - an original office and marriage comedy
Venue: Mixed Blood Theatre
MN references and Agile funny
So many great Twin Cities references! Funny moments, sad moments, if you have ever worked in an office you will appreciate it. The transitions were a bit long.
Company: The Provettes
Show: The Provettes
Venue: Crane Theater
Improv, dance and silliness, oh my!
Just the right amount of silliness paired with choerographed dance, improv dance and improved scenes. The live DJ was a great touch to add the unexpected music to really move the scenes forward.
