Unknowing is the answer!

Can you imagine going to an interview at 5 am, and then, boom, you're duct-taped to a chair. Ahahaaaa!!!!

Company: Devious Mechanics
Show: Edith Gets High
Venue: Rarig Center Arena

Game on!

Four girls getting high playing video games! This show was sold out over and over for a reason!

Company: The Theatre Cosmic
Show: Stuck in an Elevator with Patrick Stewart II: The Wrath of Fandom
Venue: Rarig Center Arena

I was expecting more laughs

I thought I was stepping into a comedy. A couple of the actors did a really great job. I'm sad that no one gave the jerk that was trying to be better a chance to BE better. If someone really wants to change, why wouldn't we help them to change vs berating them for their prior mistakes. If there are any misogynists out there looking for help to change, i will gladly help you become a better person.

Company: Komedio Comedy
Show: Nerd Rage! The Great Debates
Venue: Crane Theater

RAAAAAAGE!!!!

Guess who just subscribed to the podcast, this person! Just coming up with the debate topics alone was so much fun, even if your subject wasn't picked (mine weren't, and it's 100% okay). I love people debating unimportant things!

Company: Tiny Brooms Productions
Show: Presentation in Pink
Venue: Augsburg Studio

Get woke!

You get a smidge of jokes, and dash of history, and a lot of info on what not to say in a 2019 world. I like my history to come with entertainment, so THANK YOU!!!

Company: The Bearded Company
Show: Swords & Sorcery: The Improvised Fantasy Campaign

Roll the dice!

Yes! this show was so good, i laughed the whole time, there were no dull points, and they do a different show for each of their 5 slots?!!!! Plus, you can catch them at Huge is what I've heard, so I'm def getting some tix to that! I love when people came out, the audience knew who they were and cheered them on so loudly, like they were REAL excited, which got me pumped too!!!

Company: The Fake Fighting Company
Show: Sketch! Fight! Win!

Fun, and useful behavioral modification techniques

I’m carrying a spray bottle from now on for toxic masculinity!!!!!

Company: The Adventures of Les Kurkendaal
Show: Adventures While Black in Great Britain

Interesting life!

This story had to be told. Too funny to be just party talk. I need to work on my inferior life. :l

Company: Jesse Factor
Show: RELIC

I want to see this again

Wow! I would watch this again, and then again. That Bette Davis part with the red piece, I’m in love!

Wow

The set, costumes, lighting, acting, script were all so good!

Company: That's Enough Drama
Show: A Tension To Detail: Gerard Harris

Sweet as toffee!

It’s impossible not to laugh, and wince. You’re taken on a feelings roller coaster, crossing continents. A very satisfying use of a fringe slot!

Company: TheatreX
Show: Escape THIS
Venue: Ritz Theater Mainstage

Fun

There were funny parts! There were parts with potential!

Company: Tom Reed
Show: Game of Toms: One-Man Game of Thrones
Venue: Rarig Center Thrust

Socially acceptable porn!

Don’t worry, you can bring your kids to this, Tom only takes his shirt off! If you haven’t seen GoT, save yourself heartache, watch this instead

Company: The Importance Of Being Fotis
Show: Kind Of Funny But Also A Little Sad
Venue: Theatre in the Round

Earthquake!

I brought a non-Fringe, non-theater person with me to this show, and I think it’s help convert her to a future fringer! Lotsa laughs, minimal hugs

Company: Mermaid Productions
Show: Xena and Gabrielle Smash the Patriarchy
Venue: Theatre in the Round

Smashing good

We are stronger together!

Company: The Winding Sheet Outfit
Show: You Are Cordially Invited to the Life and Death of Edward Lear
Venue: Crane Theater

Not nonsense

Yes, it is worth giving up a time slot to travel to the crane for this show, and yes, it is worth reserving a ticket! Heartfelt, and silly, full of research, and beautiful paintings

Company: Smartmouth Comedy Co
Show: Director's Cut: Survivor
Venue: Rarig Center Arena

CrossFit! Llamas! Vegans!

A show that makes you want to google Ole and Lena jokes to prove your Minnesotanism , just in case you’re ever asked to do just that. Plus, chocolate by the box office to keep you sugared up during the show!

Company: Maximum Verbosity
Show: Get Thee Behind Me, Santa: An Inexcusably Filthy Children's Time-Travel Farce for Adults Only
Venue: Rarig Center Xperimental

Any geometric shape

I may see this a second time! I love the da Vinci code religious ridiculousness!

Company: Octopode Theater Co
Show: That Sinking Feeling
Venue: Rarig Center Xperimental

You can’t sink this ship!

I really loved the cannon fight, they were smart in how they used the space! The stranded island spot of shade still has me giggling! It’s crazy all these shipwrecks actually happened! Check out the show while it’s in town!!!!

Company: Broken Box Mime Theater
Show: Destination: Everywhere
Venue: Barker Center for Dance

History!!!

Never seen a mime show before, but I’m so glad I did! The kids in the audience loved it, and I laughed a ton. The date night part was the best!!!

Company: Benjamin Domask
Show: HODGE PODGE
Venue: Barker Center for Dance

Bells, balls, and bubbles

I had so much fun watching the interaction of kids (and adults) with the performer and props. AND this is a short show, so you have the added bonus of keeping kids’ attention the whole time, and making it to the next show!

Company: Off-Leash Area
Show: Paws 'n Effect
Venue: Barker Center for Dance

Ruff

I love that there’s a dog! Children loved that there’s a dog! Wish there was more dog :)

Company: Storyland Magic Carpet
Show: Super Drag Story Time
Venue: Barker Center for Dance

Teaching tolerance without preaching

I legit teared-up during the show. They taught tolerance in such a beautiful, fun way. There’s a part without much story, but it had me giggling: a laughing contest! So silly, just to be silly!!!! I’m dead.
