Not enough contrast
I have seen some of these pieces before and enjoyed them on their own. And there is no denying the talent of these performers! However, the entirety of the show made me feel as tho I was stuck on a broken rollercoaster with no stopping point or breathing room. I admire the topics that were broached and the vinettes between the pieces, but the choreography itself fell flat to me. More contrast in the feel of the work would have made me appreciate the hard hitting movement more.
