Art Play!
I found that looking at this play like a piece of art in a gallery, letting it wash over you, and talking about it afterwards was the most satisfying way to experience it. If you're ever going to see this play, see this production. The ensemble helps to embellish the the main characters' circumstances for the audience and the live music was beautiful. Sarah Nargang directed the hell out of this and if you're into live music, fantastic stage pictures and performances, and weird art plays that make you think real cool and interesting thoughts hours and even days after you've seen them, this is IT.

These are real calls!
I think the most interesting thing about this play is that all of the calls featured were real calls that Ashley experienced while working as a phone sex operator or a "phone actress". She's framed them in a loose plot around her conflicted feelings towards her impending wedding and her struggle to keep up with the industry's demands. The show overall could have been a bit tighter, but the content is real, true, and an excellent look into the crazy fantasies people have and how they want them realized. Very "fringey". Check it out if you are in the area!
