Authentic, Vulnerable, Funny, and Challenging
Jamie has created a great story of her life that smoothly takes you on a journey through her tumultuous and beautiful road to loving herself and finding another to love. It takes complete guts to be so vulnerable on stage and share real stories of love and pain. It takes pure precision and work to create a show like this that flows so easily from moment to moment , especially when Jamie is the only performer up there. Are there moments where the text could be set to the music better and the musical arrangement could help better support the lyrics? Yes. Did even my least favorite songs from the show get stuck in my head days after seeing? Also yes. This show is not one to miss.
