Company: Fearless Comedy Productions
Show: Deep in The 100 Acre Woods: A "Pooh"-dunnit?
Venue: Minnsky Theatre
The Big Sleep
Down these mean woods walks a man who is not himself mean. I wouldn't have thought it possible for Pooh to be noir but I've been wrong before. I make more mistakes than General Sternwood's butler. This is a funny play and well worth seeing.
Company: Snikt! Bamf! Thwip!
Show: A Family Friendly Pulp Fiction (Not Appropriate for Families)
Venue: Theatre in the Round
There Ain't No Melon Farming Ballpark
You could call this play a Bowlderized version of Pulp Fiction, but unlike Dr. Bowlder this is intentionally funny. And it is funny. This is one of my favorite shows at this year's Fringe. One a scale of 0 stars to 5 stars, with 0 stars being less good and 5 stars being more good, I give this show 5 stars.
Company: Elaine Orion
Show: Delightfully Rude
Venue: Ritz Theater Studio
See This Show!
This is the funniest show I've seen this year! This should be at a bigger venue.
Company: Grand Island Theatre
Show: Hamlet, but Hamlet's a Chicken
Venue: Minnsky Theatre
Hugo Ball
I did not understand this show. Had I seen it at the Cabaret Voltaire in 1919 it might have made more sense. I did enjoy it. I don't remember the boobies or no boobies scene, but that's what's so grest about the classics: everytime you see it you discover something new.
Company: Berlin Productions
Show: I Never Knock
Venue: Augsburg Mainstage
Genius!
I LOVED this play! Did you find an old Robert Benchley manuscript? Everything about it was perfect. I want to see this play again. It reminded me somewhat of the movie Mousetrap. Thislay has it all. If you love old movies you will love this play.
