Entertaining!
I enjoyed the actors' performances in this collective piece, and their commitment to each story. The absurdist pieces toward the end seemed a little bit lackluster (though the butter comedy was pretty funny), but overall this was good fun and very fringy. A solid effort!

Dam fine acting!
I enjoyed the actors in this piece, and the story got its (relevant) point across in a fun and entertaining way! I would have liked to have seen stronger directing on this one.....it felt held together largely by the strength of the actors. Still, a Fringe-worthy effort!

Show: The Womyn's Mysteries

Fem Fabulous
This show was so well executed, with a talented group of diverse women at the helm. I found the movement intentional, the singing lovely, and the storytelling fresh and empowering. This show lifts the veil of the Patriarchy from the women of the past, and challenges the audience to see them in new, whole, and human ways. Solid cast, brilliant and visionary direction. Go see this!!

Wow, what did I just see? Or did I?
This show really took me by surprise. Fast paced, certainly campy and full of laughs...but at the same time extremely relevant. It's really not what it seems to be- it's an illusion. Like a slight of hand, this show took you on what at face value seems like a frivolous and whacky journey, but underneath the humor is a lot of truth about current (political) events and climate. This show demonstrated that comedy IS the true magic vehicle for what we truly need to see and be honest about.
