John Paul GamokeActor/writer
John Paul has worked as a union professional for the past 33 years. He has done theatre, films and television commercials. There was only one thing left on his theatrical bucket list. And that was to write and act in the best Fringe Festival in the country! Thank you Minnesota Fringe Festival!
Kelly is delighted to return to the Fringe after starring in last year's runaway hit, THE JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP SPARKLING JUNIOR TALENT PAGEANT. A B.F.A. graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, Kelly has performed locally with Lyric Arts, History Theatre, the Old Log, Artistry, the Guthrie and is a core member of the Revisionary Theatre Collective. Favorite roles include Carrie in TEENAGE MISERY, Tzeitel in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and Corie in BAREFOOT IN THE PARK. Next up, Kelly is involved in developing and performing an expanded, full length version of JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP with Park Square Theatre. Thanks for supporting live performance in Minnesota and enjoy the festival!
New work is Life! Riley is so pleased to be a part of For The Love Of … He can also currently be seen at Old Log's HOW I BECAME A PIRATE. Recently, Riley has worked in PRESCRIPTION: MURDER WITH GHOULISH DELIGHTS, NOISES OFF at Artistry, and ALL IS CALM: THE CHRISTMAS TRUCE OF 1914 with Theatre Latte Da. In past productions, he has played John's son-in-law, Kelly's husband and Jay's son. He will probably play Rich's nephew one of these days. We are a delightfully dysfunctional family.
In the early days of his career, Rich Hamson appeared in numerous plays and musicals in the Twin Cities and across the United States. After a 22 year break, he recently returned to the stage as Alban in Artistry's production of LA CAGE AUX FOLLE. He is the resident costume designer at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre and freelance designer for many Twin Cities theatres. Thanks to John, his Chanhassen family and especially Jeff, who has shared him with his business for 35 years.
Jay Albright is pleased to be part of the exciting and relevant Minnesota Fringe Festival. He is primarily an actor and has been seen locally at the Guthrie, Chanhassen, Frank Theatre, The Jungle, The History Theatre, Penumbra Theatre, The Old Log and Illusion Theatre. This is his first foray into directing grown-ups.
