Company: Weggel-Reed Productions
Show: Couple Fight: The Musical!
Venue: Rarig Center Thrust

A fun and emotional show with a lot of heart

What do you get when you ask real life couples to air their biggest fights on a stage in front of a live audience and then set the whole thing to music? You get a wonderful time! This show was fun, humorous, sometimes sad, and an all around wonderful experience. While each couple may not resonate with everyone, their is enough variety that everyone should be able to find something to relate to, and even if a given segment doesn't particularly resonate with you, they all have enough charm that you will definitely be entertained.

Company: Grand Island Theatre
Show: Hamlet, but Hamlet's a Chicken
Venue: Minnsky Theatre

To See or Not to See - Definitely SEE!!!!!!

This show was delightful!! The premise is right there in the name, and it only gets better. The show is wacky and zany and will leave you laughing the whole time. What a wonderful spin on such a classic show. You have no reason not to see this show. I mean, what are you, chicken?

Company: Sheep Theater
Show: Kaboom
Venue: Rarig Center Thrust

10/10- Would endure apocalypse for this show again

Sheep typically puts on wonderfully absurd and ridiculously funny shows that are as delightful as they are entertaining, and Kaboom hits that target right on the mark. This show is the bomb and will leave your sides bursting. Go see it, right away, because you never know when the world will come to an end.

Company: Michael Rogers
Show: Now We See It
Venue: Ritz Theater Mainstage

A MUST SEE!!!!

This show absolutely blew me away! The way they used such minimalist set pieces to convey an amazing visual style, used colors (black and white, specifically), and the music all provided a fantastic look and feel which was matched completely in the acting and the story. It is an emotional journey with such raw human displays. It was both heart warming and heart wrenching all in the span of an hour. I found myself crying at parts, but the humor in the show provides a wonderful levity that keeps the spirits up throughout the gripping experience. If you see one show this year at Fringe, make it Now We See It.
