Set to a rip-roarin' soundtrack and wordless as they are badass, the award-winning mimes of BKBX remix classic physical theater for the here-and-now in this heart-thumping, LOL-inducing collection of original shorts.Quiet Riotis comprised of a dozen shorts, including love story told in reverse “At First Sight,” sitcom-gone-awry “The Fifth Wheel,” high stakes crime drama “Snail Cop,” three-part tween adventure “D&D,” and “The Whole Shebang,” a 6-minute hands-only history of the universe from the big bang to bitcoin. 

 

Quiet Riot premiered at NYC’s Peoples Improv Theater in November 2017 and toured to Indianapolis and Chicago in September 2018. This is its Minnesota and Fringe premiere.

 

ABOUT THE ENSEMBLE

Broken Box Mime Theater is the recipient of the New York Innovative Theater Awards for Outstanding Ensemble, Movement/Choreography, and Performance Art Production, supported by city and state funding, and currently in residence teaching Physical Storytelling at The New School.
